Tour Overview
Havana looks and feels like something out of a movie set, with its peeling Spanish architecture, 1950s American vehicles, and cigar-chomping inhabitants. This journey will immerse you in the capital's allure. Old Havana, Revolution Square, Colono Cemetery, and the Vedado area are among the places visited.
You'll be brought through the decaying old town, a 500-year-old district with cobblestone streets, plazas, and baroque churches that is protected by UNESCO. Then proceed to the harbor, where Spanish galleons loaded with New World wealth sailed away. New Havana is another feature, with Revolution Square – the location of Fidel Castro's large public rallies. It is dominated by a colossal monument to José Marti, a national hero, and a massive bronze mural of Che Guevara's visage.
See the Malecon promenade, the Colon Cemetery, and the Vedado area, which has neoclassical, art nouveau, and art deco structures and is home to some of Cuba's best early and mid-20th century architecture.
