In Gödöllő, see the world's second-largest Baroque Palace! Your tour group will arrive at the old summer palace of Queen Elisabeth (Sisi) and Francis Joseph after only a 30-minute journey from Budapest (Habsburg Emperor & Hungarian king 1867- 1916).
This tour of the inside of the palace and the Chateau's gardens provides insight into the Austro-Hungarian Empire. With the assistance of your experienced guide, you will learn about the royal couple's private lives, hidden doors, rooms, and lovers.
After that, you'll be driven to a typical farm where you'll be greeted with a Hungarian "Pogácsa" and pálinka, Hungary's national welcome drink. Horsemen will take you on a carriage ride through the neighborhood and welcome you to a traditional horse show. The journey will come to a close at the city center.
