Tour Overview
Take a hike in the early hours of the morning to Bali's highest point, Mount Agung, and climb it to the top to see the sunrise. Discover the most difficult but stunning trek on the island.
Start the previous evening with a hotel pickup between 8:00 and 9:30. (depending on the location of your accommodation). Then, depart for Besakih Temple at 11:00 to begin your hike. Bali's highest and holiest mountain, Mount Agung, is situated in the Karangasem Regency. a local guide who speaks English should be hired to lead you through the sacred site's jungle.
Mount Agung, which the locals consider to be the home of the gods, rises more than 3,000 meters above sea level. Although climbing can be difficult for some, those who are courageous and physically fit are rewarded with breathtaking views and an unparalleled sunrise.
Enjoy breakfast and the breathtaking views once you reach the top. Cast your gaze as far as the eye can see over the verdant terrain of east Bali. Then, descend the mountain once more to reach your starting point.
