Tour Overview
You will be picked up from your hotel and taken on a tour of Mexico City's historical center, one of the largest UNESCO World Heritage Cities. The main attractions will be visited, including the Zócalo (main square), the Diego Rivera murals, and Xochimilco.
The Zócalo is the world's third-largest square, surrounded by Mexico's most important political power structures, including the National Palace, City Hall, Justice Palace, and Cathedral. At Templo Mayor, he discovers the Azteca Empire's ruins. The Historical Center is America's most extensive colonial city, designated by UNESCO as the Palaces' City in the nineteenth century.
The Metropolitan Cathedral, located on the north side of Plaza de la Constitución in Mexico City's Historic Center, is the seat of the First Archdiocese of Mexico. Enjoy a one-of-a-kind walking tour of Madero pedestrian street, which features colonial and art deco palaces.
Continue to Xochimilco, which is reminiscent of a town in southern Mexico City and leads to Xochimilco's famous canals, the last remnants of an enormous transport system built by the Aztecs. Enjoy a one-hour trajinera ride, which features colorful boats similar to gondolas. To round out the tour, you'll go to the UNAM Campus (the National University of Mexico) to see the famous murals of Diego Rivera, O'Gorman, and Siqueiros, as well as the stadium (panoramic view only).
