Tour Overview

Take a mystical journey through modern Mexican culture. You will visit Teotihuacan, also known as "the City of the Gods," as well as the Basilica of the Virgin of Guadalupe.

Your first stop will be at the Plaza de las Tres Culturas, where you can see how pre-Hispanic, conquest, and modern Mexico coexist. The journey then continues to Teotihuacan, one of the first cities with planning and future projections, as well as a significant religious center. Take a stroll down the Avenue of the Dead, one of the city's main thoroughfares and streets. Don't pass up the opportunity to climb the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon and take in the breathtaking view of the site. Visit the Quetzalcoatl Temple, the feathered serpent, and the Butterfly-quetzal.

The excursion continues with a visit to the Basilica of Guadalupe. This enclosure, located in the foothills of the Tepeyac hill, is the second most visited by Catholics worldwide. The current basilica is a modern temple designed to accommodate the large number of pilgrims who visit the temple each year to venerate one of the country's most important religious symbols. You will also be impressed by the other structures surrounding the temple, such as the old basilica, the chapel of El Cerrito, the chapel of El Pocito, the former Capuchin convent, and others that comprise the Tepeyac Religious Complex.
