Teotihuacan's Archaeological Site Afternoon Guided Tour
Language: English, Spanish
Duration: 5 hours
- As the afternoon progresses, take in the atmosphere of Teotihuacan.
- Discover the archaeological zone's architecture and urban design.
- Climb the Pyramid of the Sun for spectacular views.
Visit Teotihuacan, the "City of the Gods," in the afternoon and take in the changing hues of the sky as the afternoon progresses.
After being picked up at the meeting point in Mexico City, you will be taken on a trip towards North-East Mexico City, across the suburbs, while the guide gives you a brief introduction to the city's history and the various spots you will pass by on the way to the site. When you arrive in Teotihuacan, the tour will begin with the Pyramid of the Sun, which you will be able to climb before moving on to the Pyramid of the Moon.
The guide will explain the architecture and urban design of the site, which represents the Mesoamerican cosmovision, as well as show you how this civilization lived and was organized. As the site closes, you will observe the last sun rays that touch the pyramids. You'll find a nice spot to watch the sunset around the pyramids. After that, you'll have dinner (not included in the price) at a local restaurant before heading to the meeting point in Mexico City.
