Tour Overview
Discover Paramaribo by night with a local guide and immerse yourself in its diverse atmosphere by visiting its top (and hidden) sites: Warungs (Javanese eateries) at Blauwgrond, Henk Arronstraat's monumental buildings, Jules Wijdenbosch Bridge, and more.
After being picked up, you will be taken to Paramaribo's entertainment center for a curious wonder through its establishments. You'll sip a drink at one of the catering businesses and visit the popular Javanese eateries at Blauwgrond. Then, in the Henk Arronstraat, admire the monument buildings that have been illuminated by street lights. The moonlight of the Suriname river slither combines with the glow of the Commewijne district on the other side to create something truly unique.
As you walk alongside the almond trees that provide shade during the day, learn about the guide's personal favorite waterfront eateries. Finally, you'll be driven through Paramaribo's streets towards the Jules Wijdenbosch Bridge. Once you've crossed this bridge, you'll be able to gaze back at the capital city and marvel at its breathtaking night view. The journey concludes with a final drink at a Surinamese café.
