Tour Overview
Do you enjoy Surinamese cuisine or are you just curious? If so, this workshop is a great option. See how traditional dishes like Her Heri, Keksi, and other options are made. Then, for a unique dining experience, taste the flavor sensations with wine or beer. You'll also get a copy of the recipe!
After a 5 p.m. pickup, you'll be pumped to learn more about the workshop. Meet the skilled and passionate chef with a diverse culinary background and years of experience. Listen to the enlightening and educational information on various Surinamese cuisines.
Then, marvel at the Surinamese cuisine's ingredients and creations. See, for example, Moksi Alesi, a rice dish with meat or fish. Vegetables and pies can also be added to the dish. You and your host can decide what you want to include. You will prepare Pom, an oven dish made with pomtayer and chicken, as a side dish, and Keksi, an airy cake made of eggs and flour, as a dessert. If you're a vegetarian, Her Heri, a dish of yuca, banana/plantains, and potatoes with salt fish, is an option. Pinda soup with peanuts and green potato balls is another vegetarian side dish option, as is the yuca coconut mix known as Bojo for dessert.

Receive a 70% refund if you cancel up to 21 days before the experience begins. If you cancel up to 14 days before, you can still receive a 50% refund. If you cancel up to 5 days before, you can still receive a 25% refund. If you cancel up to 24 hours before, you can still receive a 10% refund.
