Tour Overview
Visiting Colonia del Sacramento is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for history buffs. Indeed, Colonia del Sacramento has been listed on Unesco's list of Cultural Patrimonies of Humanity since 1995, owing to the Historic Quarter, which contains the remains of the first Portuguese settlement on the Plata River in 1680, as well as a rich Spanish heritage from subsequent centuries.
