Tour Overview

A trained guide leads this scenic trip, sharing intriguing details and historical significance of the buildings that border the Chicago River. You'll board at the Michigan Avenue wharf and cruise down the Chicago River's three branches: the main branch, north branch, and south branch.

On the main branch, you'll find pieces by Bertrand Goldberg and Jeanne Gang to admire. After that, make your way to the north branch to see how the Chicago River's architecture has altered over time. At Wolf Point, take advantage of fantastic photo possibilities before sailing down the south branch to visit Chicago's renowned Willis Tower. Even the epic account of Chicago's rise from the ashes of the Great Fire of 1871 will be told.
