Tour Overview

Take a 70-minute live-guided walking tour with an expert who knows everything there is to know about the Rockefeller Center building and the Rockefeller family's history! A historian takes you on a tour of the Center's most important buildings, gardens, and spaces, pointing out the amazing art and architecture.

Take a moment to view Paul Manship's gold Prometheus statue, which is the most photographed sculpture in New York City, which stands at the base of the Rink. Throughout the walk, you'll see Isamu Noguchi's amazing sculptures and Jose Maria Sert's magnificent murals. Take a photo of the famed Atlas statue on Fifth Avenue, only feet away from St. Patrick's Cathedral.

What to Remember

  • This tour is for ages 12+. The tour is not recommended for children.
  • This is a flexible date voucher. Guests should visit the box office as soon as possible to reserve their preferred date and time in advance.
  • The tour is only offered in English, is ADA-accessible, and runs rain or shine.
  • Face masks will be required throughout the duration of the tour.
  • Capacity will be set to a maximum of 10 guests per tour.
  • As usual, nearly all of the hour and fifteen minutes of the tour will be outside (30 Rock Lobby being the exception). and your guide will ensure that he or she takes the proper protocols for social distancing.
  • The tour guide will speak using a wireless speaker and Bluetooth headset, avoiding the need to hand out any equipment to the guests.


  • Tours are offered Thursday to Sunday at 2:30 pm, 4:30 pm, and 6:30 pm.
  • You will need to visit the box office to reserve your preferred date and time in advance.
